Help California lead on Net neutrality

One thing that’s become very clear over the year-and-a-quarter we’ve spent talking to our Members of Congress is that we in California are leaders of progressive change. From marriage equality to tech innovation, as goes California, so goes the nation.

The December decision by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to repeal Obama-era rules on net neutrality gives Californians another opportunity to lead. SB 822, introduced by San Francisco’s own Scott Wiener, aims to be the strongest net neutrality policy in the country. Under SB 822, Internet service providers would not be allowed to block content or discriminate against sites, services or users.

Passing this bill would set a precedent and encourage Federal lawmakers to stand up to the FCC. Help California lead the way. Ask your State senators to support a free and open Internet.

Thank you for all that you do,

Rachel
